2012 Texas Child Care Market Rate SurveyThe Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing (TXICFW) partnered with the Ray Marshall Center for the Study of Human Resources (RMC) to conduct the 2012 Texas Child Care Market Rate Survey. Each year, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) contracts the survey as part of an annual project.

This report summarizes child care market rate data for Texas and each of its 28 local workforce development areas.  The study sample draws from a list of all 17,194 licensed and registered child care facilities provided by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) in May 2012.
