2017 Texas Child Care Market Rate Survey
The Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing (TXICFW) partnered with the Ray Marshall Center for the Study of Human Resources (RMC) to lead the 2017 Texas Child Care Market Rate Survey. Each year, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) contracts the survey as part of an annual project.
This report summarizes child care market rate data for Texas and each of its 28 local workforce development areas. Three types of child care facilities were surveyed between September 2016 and April 2017: licensed child care centers, registered homes and licensed homes.
