What does adoption and family engagement look like? When June Waters and her three siblings entered the child welfare system, they made sure their caseworkers knew they wanted to stay together as a family.
With the help of a Heart Gallery placement, all four teenagers were adopted by a family who not only kept them together, but also helped maintain connections with their birth parents and extended relatives.
