Available Position: Child Welfare Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator will develop content for a new child welfare practice approach that engages birth families in permanency outcomes. The Program coordinator will support Project Manager to develop a practice guide, tools and training materials as well as deliver trainings. Program Coordinator will also monitor site implementation activities.
This position is grant funded and subject to renewal.
Develop practice approach guidelines, tools and trainings through extensive background research and writing. Conduct trainings as needed.
Assist in project site selection, implementation and monitoring.
Ensure all reports, presentations, publications and other communications are completed in a timely manner.
Actively participate in institute functions such as trainings, staff meetings, events and other activities.
Masters degree in social work or related social services field OR a bachelor degree in social work and a minimum of five years experience providing direct practice to vulnerable children and families. Professional or personal experience with foster care systems. Strong writing and oral presentation skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Clinical licensure – LCSW, LMFT or LPC; Demonstrated evidence of ability to successfully engage children, families, extended families and other people in case activities; Training and experience using brief, solution focused, and/or family systems treatment models; Experience developing and delivering curriculum and/or clinical supervision; Experience implementing programs; Ability to speak or read in Spanish.
$50,000 + depending on qualifications
