Coffee Breaks with TXICFW: Legal Permanency is Not Always Permanent

coffee breaks with TXICFW: Legal permanency is not always permanent

November is National Adoption Month. We will be highlighting important topics about adoption throughout the month. For the first full week in November we will be exploring how adoption is a lifelong journey, not a one-time event. Child welfare systems are largely concerned with achieving legal permanency for youth in foster care, but little is known about the quality of relationships youth have after adoption or reunification. This session will explore challenges older youth face after adoption and explore factors that strengthen or weaken the relationships older youth have after achieving legal permanency.

Join us a for a live session on   November 8th, 2017 from 10-10:30 am on our   Facebook Page!

Prepare by reading our latest blog post on this topic!
