Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Caregiver Training

April 10 9:00 am 11:00 am CDT

The Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing invites foster and adoptive caregivers to attend a virtual workshop on Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.

TBRI® Caregiver Training will be implemented over eight two-hour sessions. Registrants are encouraged to attend all 8 days to receive full insight.

Certificates for each day of completion will be provided.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Develop skills to use practical tools to support children by learning the Principles and Strategies of TBRI® and how to apply them in daily interactions.
  2. Learn to use Empowering Principles to address physical needs.
  3. Learn to use Connecting Principles to meet attachment needs.
  4. Learn to use Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
