News from the Field: November 2019

November 2019 NFTFWelcome to our November 2019 News from the Field! This is an extension of the bottom of our newsletter. We will be providing you with some of the latest news, resources, and local & national professional development opportunities. If you haven’t already, sign up to get our monthly e-newsletter in your inbox.

This month, we are excited to announce our two upcoming events. Please join us this next Wednesday (December 4th) for a Girasol Luncheon Fundraiser as we connect over food, talk about our work, and gather donations for our upcoming border trip. We are honored to have Luis Zayas, Ph.D., Dean of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, joining us for the fundraiser’s opening remarks.

In 2020, we are looking forward to our annual UT Child Welfare Conference. This year’s theme is “There’s Space at the Table: Making Room for Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging.”
