Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative
Project Overview
The Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative (TFYHI) builds relationships across child welfare and adolescent health systems to promote optimal health for child welfare-involved youth. In partnership with the Healthy Futures of Texas and the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services, the Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative coordinates and supports a multidisciplinary network of community stakeholders to develop and test cutting edge sexual health interventions for youth and their caregivers.

TFYHI Progress Reports
Every six months, the Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative will publish a progress report. The first progress report released in March 2021 details the Initiative’s work during the planning phase of the grant, which included an environmental scan, stakeholder engagement, and development of an intervention plan.
