Alix Mammina, Senior Communications Specialist

Alix Mammina is a senior communications specialist at the Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing. In this role, she develops and implements communications and digital engagement strategies to promote the Institute’s research. She is committed to translating research into accessible tools and resources to help all children and families thrive.

Before joining the Institute, Alix coordinated strategic communications and legislative outreach at the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault. She supported a successful advocacy campaign for a sexual violence restorative justice pilot program and created a statewide working group to strategize abolishing New Jersey’s juvenile sex offender registry.

Alix holds a bachelor’s degree in Law & Society from American University.
