Alina White, MSW, Senior Outreach Program Coordinator

“I hope to help build something that lasts, where transition-age youth with lived experience are consistently at the table where decisions about their lives are made. I want to leave behind infrastructure, networks, and pathways that keep creating access for years to come.”

Alina White, MSW, has spent nearly 15 years doing work that she genuinely believes in. Before earning her degree, Alina worked as direct care staff at an emergency shelter, and that experience planted something in her that never left.

Today, she serves as Senior Outreach Program Coordinator with the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN) at the University of Texas, where she collaborates with stakeholders and community partners to build a statewide network of resources that truly meets the needs of transitioning youth. Before joining TXFYN, she spent nearly 15 years at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, most recently at the State Office.
