Jennifer (Jenni) Gondeck is the new Call Center Manager for the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN) with the Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing. She is helping to build and oversee a new call center designed to assist former foster youth. Her work focuses on developing call center operations, supporting staff training and systems improvement, and ensuring that young people receive helpful, trauma-informed support.
Before joining UT Austin, Jennifer spent more than 10 years with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in child welfare. Jennifer’s experience with the Department included supervision, learning and development, program development, and statewide human trafficking initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work. She is currently a graduate student at the Louisiana State University, finishing up her Master’s in Leadership and Human Resource Development with a concentration in Workforce Development. Her research interests include trauma-informed leadership, workforce wellbeing, organizational learning, and using lived experience to improve services.
