TXICFW has found that individuals with Disabilities are underserved in the state of Texas. TXICFW believes further coordination of rehabilitation services especially for school-aged children is needed to facilitate successful transitions into the workforce. Systematic barriers such as lack of public transportation, job opportunities and vocational training programs need to be addressed to holistically meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
