Welcome to Christopher Ayala, our new Communications Specialist!
We recently caught up with Christopher Ayala, one of our newest TXICFW team members, to learn a bit more about him! Christopher is the new Communications Specialist and will be working across various projects for the institute, bridging the gap between data reporting and communications. He comes to us from St. Edward’s University, where he studied Communications with a focus in advertising and public relations.
What excites you or interests you most about the work you do?
I’m really excited to dive more into the world of analytics and explore the connection between data and communications. I love getting to be a part of creating clear and kind content that will resonate with our TXICFW audience.
What is something you hope to achieve in your career?
I strive to be part of environments that produce both insightful and resourceful content, always working towards intentionality, authenticity, and social responsibility with what I do.
What are some of your personal hobbies?
I love running, the occasional yin yoga practice, hiking, discussing the cinematic artistry that is Star Wars (even the prequels), and looking for my misplaced glasses. In my personal time, I also serve as the Head Boy’s Counselor for RYLA in the Rough, a leadership and development summer camp for high school students in the Central Texas area.
