Join the Heart Galleries of Texas for their monthly webinar on kinship care and kinship caregivers.

Heart Galleries of Texas monthly webinars are provided to the child welfare community with the purpose to inform and bring awareness to current child welfare practices and efforts related to adoption and post permanency. In addition, the webinars assist in keeping communities connected which helps to build collaboration within the child welfare community.

Objectives:

• Learn about Kinship Care and differentiate between the two types: informal and formal.
• Identify fundamental clinical issues for relative caregivers and how they can impact kinship placements.
• Gain knowledge and skills that can be applied with kinship caregivers to support strengths and challenges during assessment and placement.
