PEI Retrospective Data Analysis
The Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing is conducting the Retrospective Data Analysis for the Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) project of DFPS. This project entails the aggregation, cleaning, analyses, and dissemination of PEI data collected on families receiving services from 2007 to 2015. Through the examination of descriptive and inferential statistics, the project hopes to uncover valuable information on child maltreatment in the state of Texas, characteristics of families in need, the quality of currently used evaluative tools, and PEI program effectiveness.
